"The Briefcase" TJX wanted to produce a fun motivational piece for internal use. The idea of a "Mission Possible" briefcase was born. When folded, this piece looks like a briefcase complete with die cut handle. The first surprise that the user gets upon unfolding is "mission possible" music from a custom motion activated soundcard. On the adjacent panel, a CD is attached with a foam dot. When fully unfolded, the user is invited to "place hand here" where thermochromatic ink (which disappears with heat) reveals a hidden message! This piece was printed on a 64" UV litho press utilizing 4/c process + an overall gloss UV coating. The thermochromatic "hand" was applied with a screen printing process and then the entire sheet was die cut, scored and assembled with the hidden sound card. |
